Native Rock Border

This customer had many beautiful native boulders on her property. We used these to border all her beds. We added large flagstone for stepping stones upon  Zion Zoysia grass we installed. Various flowering perennials and native grasses were used in the beds with larger native boulder accents. The beds are filled with about 4" inches of good landscaping soil and then top-dressed with native, finely shredded mulch. A round mortared patio was added using stones that the customer provided. These aged well after a few months and then blended well with the native rocks in the area.
