Chop-stone Border

Summary

This job displays a basic but popular design which includes long sweeping curved beds bordered with chop-stone  mortared end to end. The landscape also includes a common use of river rock accents and native hill country boulders added for interest. The plants used are deer resistant including flowering perennials and native grasses. Dark brown native, finely shredded native mulch is used a a top-dressing about 4" inches thick,  not only aesthetic appeal but weed control as well.  Existing El Toro Zoysia turf grass is kept in the interior for a restful compliment to the busyness of beds.
